The cameras and trigger systems in most cars today have the ability to detect a certain object in order to activate their breaking system or steering capabilities yet they do not have the ability to distinguish what exactly the object is that they are avoiding. In January of 2015 it was announced during the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that the international California based technology company Nvidia announced a new vehicle computer. This new computer called Drive PX has the ability to not only react to objects but to also react better and decipher the environment around it. (Talbot)
